Guns in restaurants, what could possibly go wrong? One of our safest, most responsible evah shows us. Roll that beautiful gun fail footage:
A man accidentally discharged a gun about noon Tuesday inside BG’s Olde Tyme Deli at 205 S. Plaza Way in Cape Girardeau.
The man was registered to carry a compact personal weapon that he had in his jacket pocket. When he hung his coat over the back of a chair, the gun fell to the floor and fired into a wall, said Cpl. Darin Hickey, public information officer for the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
No injuries were reported.
A manager at BG’s said the man was apologetic, and after the weapon fired, he waited outside near his vehicle for police to arrive. The man called the police department himself and was not taken into custody. Police did not release his name.
Hickey said although the incident was accidental and the weapon was legal, the man responded correctly by notifying police. He also did not violate any city ordinance.
He was apologetic. Oh, well that makes it okay then.
He’s very lucky someone wasn’t killed. I wonder, how many near-misses like this will we have before a tragedy occurs? Before someone’s child is killed? In the meantime, BG’s Olde Tyme Deli might want to consider banning firearms.
Of course, we don’t get to find out the name of this pants-wetting idiot who can’t even grab a sandwich without his security
penis blanket. No, because identifying irresponsible CCW holders would be wrong.
So much fail.
