The shop, whose displays had been stripped of any rifles or other guns Thursday evening, will remain closed indefinitely.
Its owners, who live in Coral Springs, are distraught, Rudman said.
“The tremendous sense of responsibility in this situation and just horribleness that they feel that one of their weapons fell into the hands of this maniac,” Rudman said. “They are scared — not just for their safety — but more importantly about how the reaction is going to be for the rest of the community as they try to reenter it.”

They sell weapons to people but they are scared for their safety? Oh boo fucking hoo. Conservative tears, you guys. What, thoughts and prayers aren’t good enough for you? Amazing.
Let me also add, one of their weapons did not “fall into the hands of this maniac,” as the lawyer says. They sold it to him. It was a retail transaction. Maybe you guys should think about opening an ice cream shop next time. Something a little less lethal.

When I saw the photos of this person (a 19 year old “man”), that was able to legally buy a weapon and extra clips and the ammo, I wondered what could have gone through the mind of the shop owner that sold it to him. But, on a larger scale, we are selling weapons to crazy people all over the world, and we seem to be dismayed when they kill people with those weapons. Who would have dreamed that someone would get shot.

Well, we’ve learned a lot in the past century on that score.
While we still start, advise on, assist and actually fight in various “proxy” wars, we’ve turned the R&D for a lot of our weapons systems from that of a bunch of eggheadz in the lab to actual real world testing. We sell our aircraft, tanks, small arms and other materiel and ordnance to ALL parties that we are able to and watch how they perform WITHOUT the attentand trauma of burying thousands or millions of our own troops and civilians. This is seen as progress in some quarters.
Sick to your stomach from hearing the monster offer his prayers for the victims while sidestepping the gun issue conveniently with some nonsense about addressing mental health issues? It’s time for a visit from Granny Standing For Truth to explain the value of a prayer coming from Trump. Enjoy.

I am the slacker generation. I more or less defined it. We were the last hippies. That doesn’t mean that I never accomplished anything. Just that it all came too easy. I was being a bit sarcastic but I have been over at Gin and Tacos for the last 18 months dealing with people who are all, like, “If you don’t give BernGarJill the keys to the DNC’s car, we’ll just stay home!”. Apparentlt they did and that worked out verrrrrrrry well, not.
